I have been a patient of this practice since I came to the town 30 years ago and I can honestly say that in the main I cannot complain about any aspect of the services they provide. Yes I know that getting an appointment can be difficult just when you want one but given the fact that there are nearly 10,000 people in the town alone, not including the surrounding district, and only two surgeries available, is it any wonder that suitable appointments are difficult to get? And with the proposal to build even more housing it's not going to improve in the short term. On a personal level I am thankful to the practice for an early diagnosis of prostate cancer and also for the quick action of a GP who suspected I had had a heart attack both of which were treated promptly by the NHS. The influx of younger GPs is making a difference too with slightly differing attitudes and the advent of online appointment booking also improving the service. My thanks to the doctor who has taken it upon himself to set up the fish tank again and maintain it, it brightens up the waiting area and can be quite soothing to watch.

The 2 doctors i have used I could not fault them. Dr Henderson and Dr Dean. Very professional but genuinely take an interest in you and are just lovely people.

Sad to read the review, so nothing is changing from an admin point of view, unless there is a change of top management the depressing, disgruntled feeling one gets from the staff carries on. The nursing staff, some of the receptionists and a couple of the doctors are exemplary but they alone cannot carry the practice. The practice has the skeleton to be excellent, it needs to think laterally, work full time. If vets can run their practices successfully with a fraction of the support GP practices rely upon, then maybe it is time WE, AS TAX PAYERS AND WHO PAY OUR DOCTORS WAGES, become more proactive and less submissive. We educated them, we paid to train them, WE PAY ENOUGH FOR A VERY GOOD LIFESTYLE, much better than most of their patients myself included. The least they can do is respect US because they are not doing us a favour by seeing us WE HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR THE SERVICE.

Horrendous practice. Complained about the service that they offered to their patients in regards to getting an appointment and was told by their practice manager that he does not care about the views of people from Blairgowrie.
